The throttle position sensor (TPS) is a component in a motorcycle’s electronic fuel injection (EFI) system that monitors the position of the throttle valve. It converts the throttle valve’s position into an electrical signal sent to the engine control unit (ECU). The ECU uses this data to adjust fuel delivery, ignition timing, and other engine parameters for optimal performance and efficiency.
